How Does It Work?
Onyfix uses a specialized resin that is positioned to correct deformed nails and then cured by a LED light. The hardened resin then acts like a brace on the nail plate to promote a healthier shape as it grows out, thus reshaping the pathway for the new nail.
When the toenail grows, Onyfix will grow with the toenail and helps the toenail grow in the correct position. During this period additional bands can be applied to the toenail to ensure that the desired result is obtained.
The Onyfix system is applied to your toenail every 3 months for a total of 12-18 months.

Cost of Onyfix™ Nail System
You will first be evaluated by a our physician to determine if Onyfix™ is appropriate for your nails. Common conditions include ingrown nails, curved nails, pincer nails, split nails, and some fungal nails.
After the evaluation, your physician will prescribe a customized Onyfix™ treatment plan. Each treatment plan consists of 3 applications, one every 4 months. This 12 month plan matches a typical nail growth cycle and generates superior results.

Onyfix™ is not covered by insurance plans, but can be paid from HSA/FSA plans. Patients should always check with HSA/FSA carriers to ensure coverage.
